Symbols Logos

Logos have been for a long time used by many people to either promote their businesses or try to remember past thing and keeping people alert about the past for example the ancient symbols in logos. Some logos are very creative and they do create an impression of something in someone's mind and make him or her exactly remember how that thing looks like even before seeing it. Many businesses men use logos with attractive and eye catching symbols that ensure that their businesses are well advertised. The logos represent what that company deals with and some of them are easy to understand while others are complicated and one is supposed to get closer to it so as to acquire the message it conveys.

Logos can are found on household items, on cars, clothes, televisions, on billboards and many other items whereby they try to portray the image of those products. The symbols that appear on those logos are the exact symbols of the items the logo stands for. We may find that a logo for a shoe type for example; DH type of shoes can have a logo of the letters "D" and "H" written in a calligraphic manner so that they represent the type of those shoes. We may also find some drawings in some logos which represent the symbols for some products for example, a logo for a type of car like Toyota can have a drawing of that particular car and anybody can easily recognise it.

The logos symbolise the capability of a particular company or a business to produce that commodity up to customers' satisfaction. This is why we find some logos on billboard and a few writings below it which describes the product a bit. It has also been noted that there are still logos for the ancient times for instance, the logo for the Christians which is symbolised by a drawing of Jesus Christ in it. These particular logos try to make people recall the past and have in mind that some things existed before they were born.

A World Of Logos

Just as promised by the poster, Logorama does indeed feature "spectacular car chases, an intense hostage crisis and wild animals rampaging through the city". It even features the end of the world. But all of this is not what makes this animated short film so unlike any other.

What does is that all of the characters in the film, as well as settings, and as a matter of fact just about everything - are actually logos, brands and mascots.

From the police played by the Michelin Man, to the criminal played by Ronald McDonald, to the animals, the cars, the skyscrapers, the Earth itself, and even the Milky Way. There are all kinds of logos in this incredible world, most of them relatively well known: profit and nonprofit organizations, real estate firms and alimentary products, even political logos such as the Republican elephant. One may even spot fictional organizations: the logo of the company "Slurm" of Futurama fame makes a cameo appearance.

While this film is fictional, it does contain a certain amount of truth.

You may be surprised by the amount of logos featured in Logorama that you recognize. But in reality, there is nothing to be surprised of. Logos are everywhere. We are constantly surrounded by them. We see them, we are influenced by them, yet we don't think about them, because we are used to their presence. In order to comprehend the true influence of the logo on our society, try to actively look for them. Walk down a busy street, and look around you: every shop has a logo, and so does every car. Look around your house. Your television, your clock, mostly everything in your fridge and your fridge itself, as well as everything you wear and many more bears logos. As you are reading this, notice how your computer monitor sports a logo. So does your mouse, as well as your computer itself, your loudspeakers, or your headphones if you're using them. Once you become aware of the abundance of logos around us, the movie will make significantly more sense. In a certain way, we live in a world of logos and brands. Just like in the movie, they run the world.

And that is why, if you are the owner of a company, it is so important to have a harmonious logo which will reflect its identity. The logos presented in the movie, you remember them. And you remember the company thanks to them. Your logo is the face of your company, and just as you take care of your personal appearance, you must take care of its appearance as well.
